Previously labelled Blanc de Pouilly Fume, the change in name is due to an ongoing 'discussion' between Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau and local authorities. This resulted in him deciding to withdraw from the appellation system. Hence there's no reference to Pouilly Fume on the label, they are technically the lowest level of the French quality system, Vin de France. Blanc etc is an early drinking style, that is matured in both oak and stainless steel. A blend of four sites rahter than a vineyard expression.
